There is some technical issue I believe because my earnings have only gone up a small % since 9/10pm last night and the traffic has been steady. Analytics also not updated since that time. It is such a massive drop I had to come on here to see if anyone else has experienced the same. Near the end of month I expect it to be high earnings as ad houses push their budgets but it is the weekend I guess. I believe it might be a technical glitch and hope adsense sorts it out soon.

Looks better (September?)

Only partly due to the new season.
70 % is due to more qualitative content with impact on both Adsense and SEO.

I ve the feeling that now Google wants to reward the publishers by populating the net with qualitative information only.

Good luck all for this month.

Today I've even lower earnings measured by CPM than the lowest day in August. Tomorrow should be the start of improvement but I'm not sure it will happen this year.

Outrageous clawback in August, around 35%. I don't make a lot out of AdSense, but this month's clawback has pushed it a little bit under the payment threshold of 70 EUR. Being terrible the last around 10 days, and now this clawback... At least September is taking off really good.

My best month on Adsense was August but the last 7 days was anything up to 50% down on the previous day in the week (no changes in rank/traffic/clicks).

RPM down and Sunday 1st September was a slight improvement but Monday 2nd September not looking great.

September has started even deeper than June.
I m not talking about going from 15 usd per day to 7 usd but from daily middle 3 digits USD daily to middle 2 digits USD.

If Adsense continue like this means that this business modell is over for publishers or a recession is already affecting us.

Good luck

August was a pleasant surprise until 24.
After that, I had a steep decline in earnings.
Today is LaborDay in US, so is a long week-end.

Today looks like being the worst day in 2019 for earnings.

I get almost daily emails from a Gourmet Ads agent - any food blogs/websites used them?

Actually...

This is Labour Day! First Monday in September!

Being in the U.K, and not knowing American holidays it scare me when my earnings are down :-)

My advertisers don't care about American holidays, neither do my visitors so that can't be the reason.

Same here. Worst AdSense earnings in the decade and September doesn't look to be any different.

Yet Alphabet is going to report another record breaking earnings quarter next month... Definitely something fishy is going on here.

@frostitomik, that fishy sounds like a company you can't get contact with if there are problems or a company that explains why earnings are lower than before. Oh wait that sounds like Google Adsense ;-)

I've pretty much consigned myself to not getting anything from Adsense now.

August '19 was a record month for me as my site is quite young and I wasn't sure what I was doing over the years and made tweaks in 2019 to push the revenue up (low 4-figure sums in $).

But since whatever changed on 25th August the RPM just continues to plummet but my views/traffic/clicks remains consistent with what it always does.

Basically 50% or more down daily on what it has been for the past 3-6 months.

@adsenseuser I have been signed up with Gourmet Ads for a long time. I have never had any luck with them. Their ads are always the last to load, and their CPM is not good at all. If you use them expecting a lot of food-related ads, you can forget it, as those are very few and far between.

@adsenseuser YVW. I suppose the best thing for you to do is try it yourself. Your experience may be different from mine. My experience with it ranges over about five or six years.

@Adsenseuser, try affiliates about cooking, etc. I believe if your visitors come and read about food you can earn money with something related and affiliate. In my case it's simple, a website about investing in stocks so affiliates are brokers and banks.

Now my mobile responsive banners at the top have also blank spaces right under it... about an inch on my screen. Not only earnings are bad, user experience is also declining.

My earnings are ok, but only because my US earnings are much higher than usual. My all time US vs the rest of the world ratii has slways hovered around 1 to 1., or 50%. Lately the US is responsible for 75% of my earnings. Some days even more than 80%, with about 30% of my pageviews. Never seen such a low RPM for Europe UK, Australia and so on.
