There is some technical issue I believe because my earnings have only gone up a small % since 9/10pm last night and the traffic has been steady. Analytics also not updated since that time. It is such a massive drop I had to come on here to see if anyone else has experienced the same. Near the end of month I expect it to be high earnings as ad houses push their budgets but it is the weekend I guess. I believe it might be a technical glitch and hope adsense sorts it out soon.

Callmesd, JorgeV is not kidding. Posting stats is against Adsense TOS and can get you banned. An Adsense rep is in here, too.

My doctor told me once that the first side effects of Adsense addiction is paranoia.

Haven t you not noticed when you work in a park and you check the map, ghey always know where you are?

Focus on enhancing your revenues and don t panik.

That's a significant change isn't it, if I recall divulging earnings, ctr, rpm, epc, etc never used to be allowed?

Looks like you are right, Red Bar. I hadn’t noticed the change. Still, I don’t think it’s good form to reveal revenues. But to each his own.

@RedBar while that is what the T&Cs states, @Callmesd did not disclose the website's name, the time period, or any other information that would make that identifiable, not to mention the fact that the image could be doctored to show what ever one wants it to show. The bottom line is, stop the fear mongering for no reason. The big bad Google police will not knock your door down and cart you away, a la Brazil.

Not to mention terrible week, terrible month and terrible year. Google has lost its mojo.

Both SERPs and AdSense have turned to garbage.

G now has over 100,000 employees.
The number of employees has proven to be inversely proportional to their efficacy.
The more they add, the worse everything gets.

How long are we expected to keep banging our heads against a brick wall of corporate greed?

Is Adsense counting pageview differently these days? About a week ago my pageviews started decreasing greatly, but my income has remained the same.

'Tis the old Jobsworth scenario, the more they employ the less efficient they become as they adhere to petty rules then when they do actually do something they screw-up royally ... It wasn't me mate, I was told to do it, meanwhile so-called management haven't a clue of the cock-ups they've created since everyone is now indispensable!

Hi, September has dropped A LOT for me. Around 22% so far and still dropping.
This includes Admob. Is something going on at googles end? Have they lost advertisers?

Last week (9th-15th) improved slightly on the woeful performance of the previous two weeks.

Today is also showing minor signs of improvement with a better RPM and CPC than the last 3 weeks.

Gator, I don't see any significant changes in Adsense pageviews. This is coming from a very large sample size.

September RPM is trending down ~5% for me.

I wonder if these drops have to do with adsense knuckling down hard on miss-clicks.
They introduced a new detection system this late August.

AdSense sent me a bunch (only 2) of "new" optimizations. "New" as in the same ones they suggest each month. BUT, the difference is that this month when you clear them they ask for feedback. I gave them my feed back. Too bad you couldn't attach a screen cap. Anyone else see this.

I am absolutely raging at Google.

My niche is sports news, which means there can be days where I make next to nothing (off-season) and some days where I can make upwards of £1000 (match-days).

My ads have been running fine all week (when there's been no game), but yesterday - when there was a game - the coverage suddenly dropped to 30%, with ads not showing at all on one page - one that received over 40k page views via the News Carousel had no ads at all... whenever an ad would trickle through, it wouldn't be centered and just out of sync with the content.

A few hours later, the ads were showing, but the traffic surge had already passed.

I reasonably expect to make a minimum of £400 per match (up to £1.5k at times), but yesterday, I made a measly £19 from that page.

@nmbrsk, someone else and I also mentioned the alignment of ads. Not centred but aligned at the left of the space. I've seen it at several other websites and G doesn't solve it but how can you contact them? Lol...

A low coverage is probably because because of less advertisers. But a solution is using Ad Manager. I'm repeating this for weeks here. You can probably earn more with affiliate banners for gambling at those games, etc. Just use Adsense as backup because of the low CPM. Or find some advertisers, I've several that pays about 10 euro's each 1,000 impressions.

Yeah, the ad displays on the left. On AMP pages, where the ad should be stretched out, it remains at 300x250 at the top left, without filling the rest of the container. I’ve solved this now by setting a height of 250px and variable width, but some ads are still showing aligned to the top left. I don’t know if there’s anyway to edit the code to show how we want it to all the time?

The coverage was 90%+ for all my other pages at the time, but that one article (which was receiving the majority of the traffic) wasn’t showing ads at all on mobile and intermittently on desktop. Just that one page.

What advertisers are you using for €10/1000 impressions? I’ve had emails from plenty of networks who over a push-in type ad, but I know this affects my UX greatly.

I generate around 40,000 to 150,000 page views per match, so getting a network that pays on impressions and with a better RPM would be huge - I just haven’t been able to find the right one (which doesn’t slow the whole site down).

In my case I've brokers, banks and insurance companies as advertisers. Maybe a bad comparison because finance niche pays good but I'm serving ads with a frequency cap limited with several impressions each visitor a week. You could also use rotating ads but most important is finding direct advertisers.

Hi guys! I'm new here. I have a concern. Some of my link units are not showing, some only, not all. Is adsense have some problem with link unit recently, or is it just me experiencing this issue? thanks in advance for your replies guys.

Responsive link units account for about 70-80% of my revenue at times. Read my post above about ads not showing, that was mainly link units, with the responsive ads trickling through with a coverage of around 40%.

I think Google are phasing out link units (there was an update earlier this year where I believe some new publishers no longer have the ability to create link units?).
