How to maximize returns on Auto-Ads

I borrowed these tips from MediaVine because their ad insertion system works similarly to Auto Ads where they play to Google’s 30% ads, 70% content limit.

1) Bigger font sizes. 20px minimum.

2) Shorten paragraphs. Paragraphs should be no more than 2-3 sentences.

3) Add relevant images. The more the better. Separate them from paragraphs with p tags.

4) don’t add your own Adsense units except maybe one link unit because Auto Ads works around them. Exception is if you have a super high CTR unit you don’t want to lose.

5) Lengthen your short articles if you can.

This is debatable and conflicting. Catering to ad placement is never about user experience. Zero ads would make the best user experience.

I don't agree with wrapping images in <p> tags. I'd rather follow proper schema than accommodate AI and ad placement.

The explanation is that , auto ads is inserting ads between paragraphs, that's the generic idea. So, by using the <p> tag, you are influencing (helping) the auto ads to detect where it can insert ads. Putting image inside <p> tag, is a known trick to have ads showing under the image , which we all know how it can be easily misleading, and "in theory" against Adsense's rules :)
