Payment on hold – payout is more than your chosen form of payment.

Hi Guys,

Anyone notice unnecessary Payment On Hold message stating the following:

“Your payment amount is more than your chosen form of payment can accept in your country. To continue getting paid, please choose a new payment method.”

The amount is less than $500 so this is very unusual. I have been receiving more than that figure in past years. Is this some kind of bug?

BTW, payment method is WU.

Have there been any changes in financial transaction laws in country, or country destination? These things happen from time to time.

Hi Tangor, No changes. In fact, my friends here, with almost same amount but don't have the notification. So, I pressume it is some kind of bug...

One thing I know relevant to WU is that I have 2 unclaimed remittances originating from Canada and UAE. Both are small amount, less than $100 in total. They remained unclaimed for almost two weeks now. I don't see any reason for that to affect my Adsenset payment.

Any reason for not conducting business in a timely manner?

As for the other message ... not sure what that means, and I understand your concern/confusion!

Sorry for the double posts.

The 2 unclaimed amount are remittances from relatives, not Adsense payout, so I don't see any relevance with the notification. I'm just too busy in recent weeks and cannot find time to claim them.

Yes, I got the same message for around $450 pending payment with Western Union method. The issue seems sparked in Google Adsense Support forum but no official confirmation as yet.
I also tried making it multiple western union payments but no luck.

This seems the issue in multiple countries and I see posters from Tanzania, Philipines, Pakistan, Indonesia etc. Hopefully, it's a bug as even people with $150 or so are messaging.
