Like more posters at the Adsense topics I'm also seeing a decrease in earnings with Adsense. It's normal that January, February and March earn less than the end of the year. But for example the CTR imploded even with optimising positions, colours, etc. My website is in the finance (banking, brokers, stocks) and I'm already using few affiliates. Because it's a community there are a lot of returning visitors. That's also the reason that my CTR was about 0.16 percent in 2018 but since the beginning of 2019 it imploded to 0.06 percent. Mostly top brands nationally known are showing ads so the quality is okay.
I've about 40K unique visitors a month and about 2.5 million monthly ad impressions. I'm using Google Admanager to serve ads: header bidding competing with Adsense and with some affiliate banners rotating.
Sometimes I believe that just Adsense directly have a higher CTR and CPM than with Admanager. Problem is I like Admanager to serve header bidding and affiliate ads. Now I'm looking for other networks to work with and you can message me with suggestions. I've mailed Media.net but no response, I used OpenX in the past and it worked well but than they demanded 5 million ad impressions a month.
Any ideas or advices?
