Editting the Adsense Code

I know it is against the TOS to edit the code. However, the " <!-- " and " //--> " parts of the script are causing it not to play in firefox when I paste it into my CMS's templates.

I was wondering if anyone else have had this problem and if they had gotten any permission from google to make this trivial change to make the script work.

The standard answer will be, "Email Google and ask".

But I imagine the issue is coming from your CMS not wanting to put that stuff in the database. I seem to remember the *Nukes not wanting to do this.

Is there a way to put the AdSense code in a file and just include the file where you want AdSense displayed?
