October 2018 was the best month of this year and I did not expect that. November starts slow but much better than the October started.

For me October 's earning were within pennies of August and September combined meaning that I will not have to wait to reach the minimum payout however, November hasn't even started for me, in 39 hours I have had 3 clicks, period, what's happened?
Knowing how bad November and December usually are for my sites I'm guessing that this may be it, all over and done with AdSense, unless someone decides to have a worthwhile advertising campaign ... Yeah, and I'm also going to win the lottery tonight, much more likely:-)

@RedBar, may be try other ad networks. csdude55 seems to be successful with Sulvo : [webmasterworld.com...]

Don't get me wrong, I usually have an excellent CTR with G, quite simply these days I do not have sufficient PVs to generate higher earnings thanks to various G algo tweaks over the years plus, not forgetting, the great image theft:-)
I have to bring that up every now and then simply to remind others how fast one G action can destroy a site's earnings.

I don't like the new menu that they now have in your Adsense account. I have to keep shrinking the screen to 80% to see the bottom of it, then expand it again to view the page I want.

October was OK, 2% Clawback for October earning. November appears to be low this month thus far versus previous years. But then I have lost traffic in many of my properties because of my general content life cycle. It's a treadmill of grind.
I got my Youtube channel approved just 2 days ago for monetization after starting from zero in August. It took them roughly 21 days to review after hitting the mark. 4000 watch hours and 1000 subscriber definitely wasn't easy, but not impossible. Just a couple hundred hours of work plus a bit of luck. I might put more effort towards it to earn my beer money. I am happy my channel made it in time for last end of Q4, even though it won't be making much money yet.

No improvement for me so far, last month I was on par with October 2017, already I am -61% v November 2017, this does not bode well, the clicks I am getting are of extremely low value, many at 2~4 Cents each.

October was an improvement over a horrible summer but down 46% from October 2017. November is weaker so far.
I guess I'm retiring just in time.

Not sure what's happening today but the figures are really high. I've only had seven clicks but the CPC is 95p and the page rpm £7.89.

Could the midterms have an effect on advertiser spending? CPM's are falling from October, something I wasn't aware was possible.

RPM in one of my sites compared to september: october -12% , november -21%. Mostly due to a CTR drop. I haven't changed my set up. I use link units and their performance seems to be degradated by G. Traffic keeps dropping week by week also.

@dollarsound Since 2 november a suddenly drop of link units (CPC from 10 to 2 cents!) Total drop of revenue this month 50%, horrible!

I hate the new reports view. Also Adsense interface doesn't work well since the changes.

Since a couple of days Adsense is showing ads with 4 or 5 buttons with keywords in my 300x250 and 336x280 ads. Ugly and I thought it was forbidden to make ads look like navigationbars but this almost looks like navigation on my mobile pages.

Terrible! Adsense is getting worse and so far in November it's really bad, 0.05$ per 1,000 visitors. What's happening? all the clicks are being removed I used to make a good amount of money form my 50k daily visitors, now I can't even cover the hosting cost with such amounts.
Anyone else suffering from this issue? it's mainly since the Algorithm update last August, and it's getting worse.

@mayankparmar but the app shows different information than the site version. You can check out CPCs por example.

This ad index shows a big drop this week. Could be related to the US election?
October 2018 was the worst month of this year. First days of November were not better than October. My main traffic comes from Brazil. By this time last year CPC was ~ 0.11Euros and now is ~ 0.4 / 0.5Euros. I used to have a lot of contextual, was the main source. Contextual now is only present on SERP pages. I get the leftovers belly-fat type ads.

Another "small" tweak, with huge impact, since 08.11.
Today is really terrible. I've lost 30% of the reported clicks and total revenue. The AdRequest and CPC is constant, so the only logic states that they have a new algo for clicks.

@Mentat I agree with you since August the removed/counted clicks are totally different and getting worse day by day. They have a new algorithm for the clicks since their major algo update back in August IMO as well.

Since this morning, I noticed that Adsense is also serving Link Units within non-Link units. So for the same ad unit, I can see display ads, text ads, or link units. Interesting.
