What is a good ad network to use as a fallback?

Ad networks contact me all the time. Bugging me to join them.

With the recent decline of Adsense coverage, maybe now is the time to talk to them?

In the ad settings of Adsense I see 'If no ads available show other url'. I guess this can only be used with ad networks that support displaying ads in an iframe?

Anybody here using it? What is a good network to fill in?

I can find some topics about Adsense alternatives. But nothing about Adsense fallbacks.

What I mean is: I am looking for a network that will fill in the blank when Adsense decides to not display ads. Not the other way round.

Since Adsense does not allow you any fallback script, just a fallback url, I wonder how one would go about making use of that.

How about Sovrn? It works with AdSense passback.

MayankParmar: As I said, I am not looking to have Adsense as a fallback of another network but looking for a network that can be used as a fallback of Adsense.

The reason is: The networks are probably super intelligent in making use of the most valuable traffic and passing back the less valuable traffic to Adsense. So even though they might offer you a high CPM, those particular impressions they use might have an even higher CPM on Adsense.

I still trust Adsense to be the best overall monetization. I just would like to monetize the impressions Adsense does not fill.

If you can, you may want to consider waiting until these other ad networks figure out how they are going to work with Google.

Last I read, several of the alternative ad networks were not even aware of the major changes going on with the
Initial Better Ads Standard [betterads.org] and the February Chrome ad blocker update.
