IAB ADS.TXT questions

Hi so 2 ad networks have written to me to add two lines into ads.txt in my root domain (this seems to be an IAB initiative):

indexexchange.com, Publisher account ID, Type of account (Direct or Reseller)

Another ad network says to add same domain different publisher account id.

Would adding the same domain (indexexchange.com) but with different pub id conflict with each other?

This is turning out to be a mild headache but I guess someone here will help. Thanks!

Not sure if this will create a conflict or not, but it's obvious that both networks are getting their demand from one source and taking their cut. Can you sign up with indexexchange directly?

You can authorise multiple accounts on the same network. This isn't a problem at all.

As LuckyD suggests it is good to understand how each partner you work with is using each exchange/network. Good intermediaries will be adding value. Not all do.
