Adsense hack: only rich media or images, too?

One of my highest impression banners is going to an image, but I see in the Ad Review Center that it isn't clickable. Is this something to be worried about?

The ad is for the NRA, and the destination is the NRA website, so that matches. The banners seem perfectly legit, but they have thousands of impressions a day and are not clickable.

I have no idea how to tell if it has any value; like, are they paying for impressions instead of clicks? How can I tell?

If these are OK and we should only worry about rich media banners, what was the consensus on just blocking rich media altogether for awhile?

It is likely CPM Bid type ad. Totally legit. You are paid for every impression regardless of whether the ad is clicked or not, typically a few pennies for every 1000 impressions.

Go to Performance Reports -> Advanced Reports -> Bid Types. This will show you how much of your revenue is coming from CPM type ads.

It may also be that the clickability of the ad is not correctly represented in the ad-review-center.

A big problem with the ad-review center is that it does not indicate the bid type of the ad, so you really have no way of being sure whether an ad-unit is or isn't a CPM ad.
