Hey guys, first time here. Sorry if it's not in the right place.
To start, let me clarify. I'm a YouTuber with a hosted account, and have been doing this for years now, so I'm fully aware of how YouTube and Adsense integrate - This topic isn't referring to earnings in any way either.
Over the past few days that the Page Views and Clicks are down by around 40% on average, despite an increase in YouTube views.
In January I have been averaging about 9,000 views a day on YouTube which has been equating to an average of about 15,000 Page Views and about 400 clicks.
Since the 27th January, my average YouTube views have been up to at least 10,500 - 11,000, however, my page views are down at 10,000 - 11,000 and clicks at around 250.
So my question is:
Is there something wrong with the Adsense counting system at the moment or has anybody else encountered this problem?
I've been monitoring today, and it is way out of the ordinary today. I always check my AdSense stats around Midday UK Time, and they are less than half what they usually are today.
The reason I ask is because it isn't normal to get an increase of 20% YouTube views, and a 40% decline in Page Views & Clicks - at least not in my experience of using Adsense for the past 4 years, as this has never happened before.
Any insight, advice or help would be greatly appreciated
