No question that my earnings have tanked lately. However I've looked into this and I see a puzzling situation and I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed or investigated for themselves.

The Firefox browser is not showing ads at all via my desktop. The Firefox browser on my Android phone is showing one or two ads, but at least one is missing. No issues on any of my sites when view with other browsers like Chrome.

I know Firefox is a percentage of users, however, the way things are on my desktop browser, I'm seeing zero ads. I haven't changed FF settings. I have done anything different. The fact is the ads are not showing up at all.

I'm not quite sure if there is a new default setting that took over Firefox in terms of adds when I do the normal updates. However the actual ad space is still on my site, but it's blank.

Has anyone seen similar issues?

(no ability to fix spelling error in thread title!)

I am currently working on my site, displaying it on my localhost using firefox. Often the ads do not appear but the ad code seems to load. I assume this is to do with the fact that the ads are served on the locahost, and by the fact that I am refreshing dozens of times per hour. The live version of the site seems to work fine, but I am rarely call a page from it. I did notice that the situation is worse in mobile emulation mode.

Odd, today they are showing. By no means a false alarm because nothing changed on my end, and ads were not appearing for days upon days. I'll see if there is any revenue change and that should fill in the mystery a bit more.

Not saying this happened to you, but one client had a similar problem last year, though it included Safari, too. After a number of determined calls to G's help we did get an admission that a glitch on their end interrupted some ad displays.

I suspect there is more of that going on than g will admit.

And no, we did not get an actionable answer to correct a problem we did not create. As for that client, things got back to normal and it has not reappeared.

It could be an artifact of G's increasing personalization efforts. Emphasis varies by niche but I've seen slight to significant query results and ad delivery offerings based on browser, i.e. same device different browser same query within second, open same page within second. Repeat with same query for similar results so tends to discount time as factor.

What sort of glitch would target a particular browser, if that is what has been (is) happening I can't imagine. There is a lot of code swirling around so it is possible although without more info I tend to discount it.

I am still having no ads showing up. Earnings have tanked to the point where I cannot get email support, which says something right? I'm really stuck on this. I know ads pay less, but blank ad locations are reeking havoc on me. I didn't realize how bad this can be when you lose the direct email support ability. It's ironic. Issues cause earnings to tank, then email contact removal, yet the issue needs resolving, but the communication abilities go away. How frustrating is this... It's nonsensical in a way. Probably 8 years with solid earnings, and now I can't make enough (over the past month or so) and I"m without direct email support. Can't they figure out that my account is in need of help? A grain of sand from the world's beaches, yes I know.

On one of my sites, I have a 160 x 250 ad on the sidebar that refuses to load on the root domain, but it does load on other internal pages. So I just put an Amazon ad on top of it so there won't be blank space (under an image that says "advertisement").

This is also unique to Firefox, I tried it in Safari and iCab and the 160 x 250 ad loaded as is should.

Firefox browser not displaying Adsense on my sites
It happens periodically. It doesn't mean others on Firefox can't see the ads. The ads should come back in a day or so. This has been happening for over a year, off & on. I've reported it to them a couple times.

By "them" I meant Mozilla. The ads are loading, Firefox is failing to display them.

Ads are not showing for me, either. Instead, they are showing the alternative adverts that I set up.
Firefox - desktop.
