What are your thoughts so far now that it's completed it's roll out and has now hit mobile? So far there appears to be just two ads per unit instead of four but I'm not really seeing any performance drops.

I went to my Adsense account and clicked through to where it showed the types of Adlink units available. I didn't think I was seeing anything that looked like a new format.

Is this what we're talking about?
This shows up on an adlink using standard code. Default style selection. 160x90 [i.imgur.com...]

I've seen that. I think it looks awful. At first glance I thought it was a badly designed image used by the advertiser.

I finally contacted Adsense today about why my AdLink units aren't still formatted the way they used to be.
They stated that from here on out all AdLink units will have the "oval" format (see screen shot above). If you don't like the "oval" form, tough luck. The only alternative is removing the code and doing without. The Adsense documentation for AdLinks simply hasn't been updated yet to reflect this new change. The representative said that their testing showed a higher CTR for the oval format.
