my website is providing updated data that are useful to people arround world.
I also offer some additional service for anyone who registers account on my site.
Recently I started logging adsense clicks with StatCounter and linking IPs with my registred users (I have like 2500 registred users).
I found that some of my loyal users who visit the site almost daily for months also click on ads almost everytime they visit (usually 1x per day) It's like 5 people from that 2500 users.
Now I don't know if their intentions are to "support" my site or they are rather trying to cause damage.
My site used to have like 1% deduction from invalid activity. But as it grew larger number increased up to 9%.
Now those users are on dynamic IPs so disabling adsense for them is rather difficult without disabling it for whole ASN
I'm not sure if I should do something about it. It seems I don't have much options how to defend my site plus I think those users are only fraction of such activity since most of my clicks come from unregistered visitors anyway
btw, statcounter constantly records 2-5x more clicks than I get credited on adsense.
