After much procrastination and threats over the past year, I am finally rid of AdSense. The last bit will be off the site in less than two hours. I feel a sense of freedom that I haven't felt in a very long time. And Friday marked my 13th year with AdSense.

What are you using to replace AdSense?

ken_b, I'm using Gourmet Ads, Content.Ad, GumGum, Conversant Media, Media.Net, Swoop and AdReclaim. AdReclaim ads only appear to people who use ad blockers.

I'm not rid of Adsense but over the last year have diversified my income from one stream (Adsense) to five, albeit not all online. Gives me a sense of relief, too, not to be dependent on Adsense anymore.

Congrats on your decision.

azlinda;
Thanks. That's a boatload of programs. Here's hoping all goes well, which I guess it must be for you to fully drop AdSense.

I hope you'll keep us informed about how it goes.

I'm very happy for you that's awesome! It actually gives me a sense of relief that you can still make your money with other ad networks. I was getting the impression it wasn't possible to match

Yes, I think we'd all like to learn from your experience, both good and bad.
Was it easy to sign up?
Was site configuration easy?
Are the ads good quality?
In time, let us know about earnings.

Thanks

Well, today is final freedom day. I had to leave one AS ad on until I reached the $100 minimum needed for payment. Plus I waited until it got to $115.00 because who knows how much Google will claw back at the end of the month! I had forgotten that I could not be paid until I reached the threshold, and I was determined not to leave one penny on the table for Google to keep. I replaced that one Google ad with Gourmet Ads. For those who asked, yes, it was easy to sign up. I have been signed up with most of the replacements for a few years, so it was an easy transition. The ads are just as good quality as anything I have seen from Google for a very long time. As far as the earnings, what can't beat a low two-digit (that's to the right of the decimal) RPM. The Google RPM has been low all of August. My site, using "Think with Google," has a mobile speed of 99. You can't get much better than that. It's sad when you can't make over $5.00 for the day. Yes, all the other ad networks are paying much more than Google.

Swoop is on again-off again. I can control whether the ads show right from the dashboard. I am also no longer using Ad Reclaim. The only ones I am currently using are gumgum, Conversant, Media.Net and Gourmet Ads.

Thanks for the update.
... low two-digit (that's to the right of the decimal) RPM.
Yeah, that would be a discouraging number.

Good luck in the future.
