Admob and Adsense account settings what this?

Hi I was scanning through the Adsense settings and found this setting for Admob and to make my Adsense account a preferred Admob account.

What's this settings used for? Thanks!

Do you have an app that you run ads in? Admob is for monetizing apps.

I get notices about Admob all the time, and I don't have an app. (Yet)
