2016 Changes in AdWords / Analytics

Big changes coming to AdWords, which of course, affect AdSense. If you catch this while it's still going on, you can watch the announcements live here:

Some of the things they are already talking about are ad formats, mobile, etc.

The mobile text ads will allow longer headlines and more text. Google claims that has increased CTRs on mobile in some cases. Display ads will be easier to design and maybe better looking since Google will do most of the designing.

Google says its launching Google Data Studio for free.

Well, you get five reports for free, and then it's $150k per year for six and up. Kind of a steep gap there.
