Has anyone experimented setting responsive ads based on their top ten screen resolutions from "Google Analytics"? I've just done this yesterday, and the CTR has increased by 0.10%.

Here's what i did:

I am playing with 4 banners, all responsive. (only 3 are visible at a time).

1. Top Banner
2. In Post Banner
3. Banner after paragraph 3
4. Banner after paragraph 4

1. The top banner is displayed if device width is over 500px otherwise it's hidden.
2. In Post Banner is displayed (regardless of the width).
3. This banner is displayed, if the top banner is not displaying (where devices width is less then 500px)
4. Is displayed, regardless of the width (responsive ad unit)

Any thoughts guys? If you haven't done this - I suggest you all to try it.

How long has this experiment been running? If less than 4 weeks I wouldn't get too excited. A tenth percent is not insignificant, but if it does not last it may not pay off for the coding/placement.

Unfortunately, i had to remove the setting today after re-reading the Google Policy of only 3 ad units. Even though, i was displaying only 3, but the page source had 4. :(
