March 2016 was the first sign that the things could get better, let's see April 2016.
1st of April is not very promising, with -30% revenue vs last week.

Same here. I'm using another network that's for my niche and it's giving me twice as much revenue than Adsense which never happened before. What's interesting is the other network is just my backup ads yet they earn more than Adsense. Now explain that!

I'm very curious as to which publishers in which niches are actually earning a fair amount of money on adsense these days. Are *any* of them? I'm dubious.

AdSense dashboard gives advise: Add Page-level code to more of your pages

I removed page level ads a while ago because of underperforming. Anybody the same tips from AdSense? And some people good experiences with page level ads?

No need to guess, red bar displayed for me, what a surprise!

Yesterday was low again plus I had clicks removed to add insult to injury.

Earnings last few days a slight improvement but apparently now nobody from my own country clicks ads, never seen this before where other countries are the only ones making the clicks. Usually it would be 90% my own country or thereabouts. So if these earnings are getting better with just other countries, all I need now is clicks for my own country to resume to normal and I will be happy.

This is so crazy what everyone experiences. It's laughable when people think this is natural and something which just happened. To me it looks like someone in Adsense totally messed up, and it's taking them a hell of a long time to rectify everything.

The trend is to gradually move away from using adsense as the sole adprovider and include it as either secondary passback after some other networks.

I now use a variety of networks across several providers split across several sites depending on the niche and audience. In certain situations and niche, niche networks perform quite well due to targetted ads instead of the personalization crap that general ad networks offer.

All my sites now serve slightly different mixes to cover potential adsense downturns. However, adsense still does have my prime spots designed for maximum exposure and CTR. I find that my earnings from other networks move than covers the downs of adsense days.

This morning looks like a replay of the other day with high RPM, and low page views, with page views not moving.

I added the page-level anchor ads (the ads that go at the bottom of the screen) a couple of days ago, and results have been abysmal so far. Still, who knows--it's only been 48 hours or so.

Regular AdSense ads (300 x 600, one ad unit per page) are doing fine, with an upward trend from week to week and month to month.

@editorialGuy I made over £2 on one click with the Vignette ads, got a little excited but not seen any more clicks on these or on the page-level anchor ones.
Still could be quite promising as its only been 2 days, maybe takes time to see what does best on our sites (hopefully).
& today has been my best day on regular ads since the collapse of Adsense, it now seems like a normal day, wont hold my breath though, could be a shocker for the next 10 days.
Adsense is like a box of chocolates, you never know what your going to find when you login.

Absolutely terrible so far today, up to about £1.75, that is absolutely ridiculous.

Have a not too bad day, best of the month. Must be something wrong.

So far this year each month has improved over the previous month. But moving at a snails pace upward.

Going to take about three years to get back to where I was at this rate.

Tried the page level ads. It made Google's "responsive" ads unresponsive. Meaning the regular ads were not mobile formatted. As a Premium Publisher, I've had 4 different account managers since Jan 1 2016. Facebook's Audience Network is averaging almost 3x the RPM as traditional AdSense this month for my 2 sites.

April is better than the Jan to March period with a slightly higher RPM. Still 15 to 20% lower than last year. Traffic is very stable.

I've made more in April but that's only on the back of SERP rises and increased traffic. RPM for April is only 0.03c more than March and 0.04c more than February. Earnings and ad quality today are dire. Nothing but Google or e-bay ads and completely irrelevant text ads across the board. No wonder nobody is clicking and/or ads aren't earning.

With my lowly click volume these days I can't believe I'm asking this however has there a been another new click fraud measure introduced this week?

I only ask that since in the past 5 days my click volume has been 66% of average with not one day even achieving the average yet my EPC and PVs have been precisely the same and it's extremely rare I have "an end of the month thing".

I've been having quite a few issues with my server lately. I am on a cloud server and it appears that some of my sites have been using up nearly all the resources which has resulted in websites going down frequently and running quite slowly. I'm quite sure that it must have an effect on how people use your website. After all, I know that if I'm visiting a website and I'm finding it difficult to move around written off I will leave. Therefore I've upgraded my hosting and my websites are now moving very quickly. I think it's fair to say that it's worth spending that little bit more on hosting than trying to save money and having a website that doesn't move quick enough which results in people leaving. My AdSense has really suffered in the last month which corresponds with a lot of problems with my site either going down quite a bit, or running very slowly. I was using one CPU core on my cloud server, I've now increase that to 2 which seems to have improved things. Yes, it's a little bit more expensive, but hopefully it will mean people will move more quickly through the website and touch word improved my earnings. But will just have to wait and see

That's how blatantly see-through Adsense is, I predicted a bad day because they gave me 6 x £0.01 early on, it was so obvious to see it coming and it's exactly what has happened for the day, so transparent, it really is just one big fix :)

@ironside how far did you get with one cpu? How much data did you handle in the average hour?

Seeing ads that have 3 or 4 lines of text and a large picture to the left of the text. Primarily in the 336x280 unit (2 ads stacked) and the 300x600 unit (4 ads stacked). Says powered by Google. Are these text ads or image ads? Arrows are gone. Doesn't look good since CTR is down.

Glad I have diversified my revenue over the last year.

30 April = orthodox Easter and end o the month.
If we don't see arrows soon, we will die...

Is incredible that we don't have arrows, bit I see a lot of red/green/blue fake download buttons in Ad Review Center...

No arrows here either - despite 2 days in the middle of the month where they came back.

Adsense is so irrelevant now that it manages to achieve 0.03% CTR

I have arrows, I have never lost arrows insofar as I am aware.

The last day of the month on a Saturday at the end of my worst-ever week in almost 13 years, there was only going to be one outcome even though I had normal PVs.

One of my lowest-ever days even though I managed the same volume of clicks my EPC was slashed by 50%, garbage, utter garbage, just like the totally irrelevant ads I am seeing.

I have a new site launching today, not an ad anywhere.

Odd ads from yesterday have completely disappeared and CTR is back up. Now can't find a text ad to save my life, although reports say that today is mostly text ads. Seeing lots of double serving of image ads.

My account manager told me they have to shift resources and focus pages with more mobile traffic now (we've 80% desktop traffic). I had this account manager since 2010 and he dropped me like a hot potatoe. lol
