This seems to happen once every 2 or 3 months and generally doesn't last more than a day. I've always assumed it was google doing some "tweaking", though the url filter comes in handy during these episodes.

I understand that this may, for semantic reasons, only affect certain sites, but is anyone else seeing this on their site?

Yep started seeing ones today that had no relationship to our pages....not even close to any keyword. Dusting off the URL filter quickly.

yeps here too, i even try to tweak it to get some relevant ads, but no cigar. Still getting the weirdest ads I ever had, even on pages which contents has no change.

I've noticed that the Adsense content is generally about 24 hours behind my site content. this means if I had a topic on a page 24 hours ago that was about "blue widgets" and today my content is about "yellow monkeys", the adsense ad will show ads related to "blue widgets". Then the next day the ads will show "yellow monkey" related ads. Don't quote me on the 24 hours thing though, could be less.

Just curious are they "read your palm" type ads?

Many off-target ads here too but also many new on-target advertisers showing in preview tool.

Decided to take a look after seeing this post and noticing CPM trailing off last couple of days.
