Google has released an infographic for AdSense Publishers which which contains some helpful facts and information, and suggests some ways you may be able to make more money.

I'm not sure it'll help more than the newest of publishers, but here it is for completeness.

I was actually thinking of replacing my poorly performing BTF responsive in-content unit by putting up a half page above the navigation bar (theverge style). Did you guys test the monster ad before? How did it go for you?

Here's a "working" link: [services.google.com...]

Though even that didn't work for me. Here's the PNG version: [1.bp.blogspot.com...]

Edit: now that I manually loaded the PNG, it also loads (embedded) in engine's post. Something amiss in the CDN perhaps.

The "Use wider ad sizes for more success" is a hoot.

If I give them a space for a 468x60 ad, I expect a 468x60 ad to be delivered. Not one 25% (or more) smaller which is what is going on frequently now (but hey at least it's better than one of my Amazon alternates when nothing loads at all).
