New email from Google today.. Google Contributor - where visitors can make a small contribution (Monthly) and see fewer ads (AdSense).

I remember free TV in the U.S.A..it had a lot of ads in it, but I'm well over 40;)
When I was last in the UK they had free TV..some with ads..some without ( the BBC )..and they had Sky..which one paid for..and which had no ads..now Sky is still pay for..and has ads..the BBC ..still has no ads..

Here in France we have free TV..and paid TV.. a whole bunch of free channels..and a whole bunch of pay for packages and channels from different companies..
ATM it is the Rugby World Cup in the UK..at Twickenham..( for those on the left side of the pond..Rugby is like football , but waaaaaay better ..and without all the armour ) ..I used to play rugby both at school and for fun..many years ago..
Our free TV station ..TF1 is running all the matches..live..in full HD..the only ads are at half time..

Last night we had the opening ceremony ..( try and find it on the web, it was extremely well done :) followed England vs Fiji ..live in HD..it was a great match..:))

Tonight TF1 are showing live in HD..France vs Italy..they will be showing every match in the 2015 world cup live..:))..6 weeks of World class rugby ..live in HD..:)))

It can be done..and the ads are not at all intrusive ( they are not great works of art,although some of the ads for perfume are beautifully done, but they are not intrusive )..so we accept them..

Why should I pay Google for something I can do with a simple adblocker?

I think that Google would like us to believe that they are a version of M&M enterprises ( from Catch 22 )..as Milo ( Milo was the Ms in M&M ) explained to Yossarian.."what is good for M&M enterprises is good for everyone"..

I see Eric as Milo often-times..

A bunch of used size 13 and half work boots and shoes though.. ;)
