Some people, for reasons which (in my advanced years) I fail to comprehend, seem to think that obfustication, through acronyms and textual compressions, is somehow cool (sorry, "kewl").
It is no more acceptable than the ridiculous long words that I've used in this posting.
I'm glad that most people in this forum use normal words.

Maybe they're trying to avoid "text bloat" so pages will load faster on slow connections. r any of u still using 300 bps? :-)
To keep on thread, my clicks aren't frozen. They just seem to be slogging through very deep snow.

Due to high demand for just such a feature, I've asked BT to develop something similar to the Etch-a-Sketch [adage.com] ad that GE ran a few months ago. It's about ready to come out of beta! Of course, the downside is that the whole of WebmasterWorld will have to be ported over to a mix of flash and pdf, but, hey, this stuff is important if you want to make the blogs nowadays.
