A l-o-o-o-o-n-g time ago it was common to tell AdSense when you mistakenly clicked on an ad on your own site. Is that still common or do you just leave it alone and expect Google to find and remove the amount from the amount owed to you?

Just let it go. They'll find it and deduct the amount.

I have one, maybe two accidental clicks per year. I don't tell them, in fact I think they've publicly said they don't need you to tell them. They track a lot online so they pretty much know before you tell them LOL.

Yep they did a few years back because they know the IP of your home connection.
