Do you have your AdSense IBA ads turned on or off?

Have you experimented with them?

Are some sites better for IBAs?

I have them turned on but I'm considering turning them off. No one however has complained about them to me though. So maybe fixing what isn't broken?

You can opt out of showing ads that are based on user interest and demographic categories (for example, 'sports enthusiasts' or 'inferred age: 18-34'). In turn, Google will not use visitation information from your sites to help create interest and demographic categories. However, you cannot opt out of showing ads to users based on their previous interactions with the advertiser, such as visits to an advertiser's website.

Confusing, isn't it? :P

From AdSense Help [support.google.com]

We understand that it's important for you to have control over the types of ads that serve on your web pages, so we offer a number of opt outs for new ad formats.
Available opt outs
Currently, we offer the following opt outs:
User-based ads
Interest-based ads:
Choose whether or not you want to show ads based on user interests, as well as allow the use of visitation information from your site to help create interest categories.

Here is where you can opt out from the AdSense control panel:
AdSense Control Panel > Ad Serving Tab > Allow & Block Ads Tab

Use these settings to allow or block certain types of ads from serving on your web pages.
User-based ads
Interest-based ads - show ads based on user interest categories, and allow the use of visitation information from my site to help create interest categories.

Since AdWords doesn't allow close contextual ads for my best paying sites*, I'm all about the IBA.

* which fact also affords me an excellent opportunity for direct ad sales

Interest Based Ads are the best for me. Far and away the best. My content category is high end brands (apparel, accessories, jewelry).

I'd like to have all IBAs. They perform better than anything else.

I rely on IBAs over contextual for most of my sites, simply because there are no close contextual matches for my content. About 66% of my lifetime income has been from IBAs.
