Bad Monday here so far. I hope it's just a delay.

Memorial Day weekend derailed my decent month. Still was pretty good so wont complain. The weird thing though is this past weekend was horrible. I have no clue why, but earnings were even worse the last 2 days compared to Memorial Day weekend and that is pretty bad.

I think this thread needs to be branched out to a new June thread.

That said, May was a bad month. It looks as though Google has become more aggressive in identifying invalid clicks and traffic, and they are now showing this in your (everyone's) payments page.

I notice they are (more aggressive) in pruning clicks/earnings in real time as well, and this may account for reduced CTR and CPC, that many have been complaining about.

May was a watershed month, I believe, as far as Adsense is concerned. It may have to do with the declining economy (that no one talks about openly) which has seen Google's Adsense revenue drop, and ever increasing numbers of bot traffic, that is probably forcing them to tighten everything up, in order not to lose even more Adwords customers.

There was a big delay in April payments as well for quite a number of publishers probably due to audits and reaudits....

So yeah, all the signs point to problems within Adsense. I hope it doesn't get worse.

I changed the color on one ad unit, the site lost earnings. I changed the color back, the site lost more earnings(incl ctr).

I'm beginning to think it's simply best not to touch ad units once they are implemented on a site. Create new units instead of modifying old.
