All my sites now have this ugly white ads with patterned background with white-grey stripes, they simply ignore my ad styles and put their, of course this hurt my ctr badly, already 30% down.

Look at this: i.imgur.com/T5C7rDx.png (sorry for large jpg compression but you can see white-grey stripes).

This should be black ad with white text!

Another crazy example is white(?) title with grey arrow and grey description, I mean you can barely see white title on white-grey stripes.

I don't know really what is happening, but for 2 days I'm seeing this on all my sites, and on all ad formats.

Anyone seeing this on their sites?

Nope; I haven't even seen it anywhere else on the web. Weird.

background with white-grey stripes

I was seeing this a while ago when logged into google publisher toolbar.

I think I just logged out then back in and they went away. (several months ago)

I see that where I chose "default" as the color scheme.

This looks terrible, custom ad size and ad style, but still they display some random colored arrow with white title:

Seriously?

Waste of space I know, but they used to display up to 10 small horizontal ads there, so this large ad worked perfectly for me, but now they display one big ad with that ugly background. Nobody want to click on ads anymore, lowest ctr in years :(

I've seen a couple of examples with rectangle responsive ads. Ugly! The do appear to be in the experimental stage but haven't seen any rhythm or reason to when or why they show up.

now they are experimenting with centered ads, at least they look better

but they should center that description text too
