We don't really go that way here. And those niches are way overcrowded with made-for-AdSense and affiliate sites as it is. Unless you can generate a boatload of high quality, converting traffic, you'll be smartpriced down in a week.
If you want to make sustained money with AdSense, find a less competitive niche and pwn it.

Welcome, I note this is your first post.
If you are a newcomer, working on the so called "best keywords" - whatever they are, or may be - it won't help you one bit.
Assume the best, most profitable keyword was "Blue Widgets"?
Well you would find that very long established sites, in their hundreds, have "Blue Widgets" well and truly covered.
Successful sites focus on quality content about a genre the webmaster is an authority on. The webmaster doesn't pepper the site with "supposed popular keywords".
I suspect in the modern era Google doesn't even take keywords into account. Most people search by using phrases.
"How to paint blue widgets green?" "Can I bake blue widgets in an oven?" "How old are blue widgets before they can be picked?" "How to propagate blue widgets?"
Google search will present the best pages they can. On those pages Google AdSense will present the searcher with the best, most relevant ads [subject to stupid interest based ads].

When I first saw this thread title I was thinking wow, how 10 years ago. (Mesothelioma.)
I agree with all of the advice above. However, if you find yourself in the situation where you are an authority. And you have a great number of different topics yet to write about, there's no reason not to choose ones that have a direct tie in to buying something advertisers have to sell.
if I were a beautician, rather than write an article about how to wash your hair, I might write one about the best hair dryers.
both pages might show very similar ads, but the intent of the visitor to each page would be quite different and therefore more likely to result in clicks.
