I have meticulously counted all the pixels of the new AdSense ads for your infopleasure, and I present my findings to you now:

Number of pixels / Ad
75K - Rectangle
72K - Skyscraper
65K - Leaderboard
28K - Banner

No, don't thank me! Yes, I have too much time on my hands. No, I didn't doublecheck (my eyes had already glazed over from the counting... I kept losing my place!). No, I don't know if this is truly relevant to design decisions (but it could be!)

Okay, so I admit that after I counted a certain number of pixels, I did, uh, make some estimates with a calculator :D

That said, for whatever reason, I did find it interesting to see the comparative sizes of the ads, and I hope others did, too :)
