My sites are not responsive or mobile friendly. My mobile traffic has been increasing, but over the last year the RPM for both tablets and smart phones has also increased. In the case of smart phones, it has increased rather substantially. On top of that, the tablet RPM is higher than the desktop RPM.

What former Googler would this be? Anonymous sources are always suspect.

On top of that, the tablet RPM is higher than the desktop RPM.

Taking the whole of 2014 until now my tablet v desktop:

CTR 147.6%,
RPM 150.9%

For the last 3 months tablet v desktop

CTR 177%
RPM 182.9%

Tablet CPC is now marginally more than desktop.

As I upgrade more sites to responsive html5 their earnings go up.

Almost flatlining today, lowest PVs I've ever seen at this time of day...December's finished for me unless something remarkable happens.

My Sunday actually ended up with earnings at 60% of December so far therefore not a total disaster but interestingly the USA was demoted to 4th place after the UK, India and Lithuania!

I know, it's a crazy period for some of us and nothing can be read into these figures, so far today, Monday, it is worse than yesterday!

Worst December for me in 6 years. Used to be my best month, now, just average (whatever average is supposed to be).

I'm adding about 2000 pages to my (mostly evergreen) site in 1Q 2015, so, I'll be expecting much better results as time moves forward.

Fortunately, my niche is so exhaustive that even if I live to be 90 (I'm 61), I could add 10 pages a day and still not be close to being done. When I'm dead and gone, I expect to be an internet legend, but, in the meantime, I still gotta eat, pay bills, etc., so, let's go, Googlers!

PVs down so far today for me not surprisingly looking at all the lucky devils in the pubs BUT a $4 click from New Zealand on one of my small niche sites is nice.

UK traffic is at unbelievably low levels with no clicks either.

Surprisingly Xmas Eve was not my lowest PVs day ever, today seems to be heading towards that, in fact clicks were 66% of average but my CPC was 54% resulting in both earnings and PVs as my 4th lowest-ever.

What do I say about Xmas Day other than bizarre!

50% of clicks and 25.4% of earnings came from India with a 110% CPC.

Earnings were much better than Xmas 2013 with the same volume of PVs.

As has been the case for the last few days the UK has been closed for me with 17.9% of average PVs of the last couple of months, in fact the UK has shown a horrible downwards trend for me the last couple of months but I can point a finger firmly at G's UK SERPs for that, they've been diabolical during this time with simply far, far too many USA companies ranking in the top 20 for my widgets when they are totally incapable of supplying....ridiculous.

I've had a good taste of success this month. For me it's a return to respectability. It will help cover some bills. I'm not expecting long lasting success, but I'm self assured that I can make this work again. It's clear that I've been a dork when it comes to addressing mobile in the past.

Roll on January 5th ... I am at pointless AdSense levels together with some of the lowest traffic days I've ever seen.

11+ years and my lowest-ever earnings' 30th December.

PVs picked-up and ended average for the month, CTR 70.8% however CPC 45.8% with the USA at 36.4% and easily its lowest-ever by a big margin.

I'm guessing another week of this crap but if it doesn't get any better by mid month then I'll be yet another ex-publisher.

I've been managing to juggle good earnings in January from a stellar December. Right now I'm somewhere between optimistic and pessimistic about earning potential from my webmastering talents (or lack thereof). In some ways, I've turned a corner on how to monetize with Adsense in today's world. I've clawed back on the chunk of clicks that I essentially ignored over the recent past.

Clicks are there, traffic is here but earnings are not that good for the last week. CPC is 30-50% what it was first 3 weeks of December. I am guessing that, just like with sales, it is down because not many people are buying and bidding these days (after Christmas). Then again, I don't see my Adwords cost going down so who knows what Google is "cooking".

My RPM has taken a dive down 40% today and it looks like CPC is the cause, down 50% so far. Yuck

My epc is down this month, too, but so are my Adwords costs for other sites. So I can see the correlation.

Traffic has increased but revenue has gone down. RPM is 50% of November and first three weeks of December. I hope RPM will increase from Monday.
