Low Income

Hi guys,

This is my very first post here although i am using adsense for more than 15 months and regularly come here to check the forums.

I have been using adsense in one of my sites for a very long time, and recently i added another site to the same adsense account and i am seeing a huge drop in income and CPC rates.

I know this sounds bizarre, but is this a possibility? Adsense dropping because of using two sites from the same account?

From my own experience, yes.
Generic content can poison the well with low quality ads. It may stabilise eventually if you constantly tweak settings and micromanage but it's easier just to have a separate account for low paying content.
Google claims to have uber reliable methods to target the different content with the correct ads but I have seen a lot of spill over of generic $0.09 CPC ads to my $1.50 CPC niche content, especially from 3rd party ads.

I don't think so. I have a lot of sites. Some earn a lot and some barely earn anything, but the ones that don't earn haven't negatively affected the ones that do.
