Several years ago our website's "forum section" was blocked off from displaying Adsense units. I believe it happened after the forum suffered spam from some of our competitors and Adsense recognized that and only blocked off that section of the site. No other sections of the website are affected.
We just crossed our 11th year of doing business with Adsense.
I don't know yet if I'm even interested in displaying any Adsense units in the forum, but we have numerous Third Party ad networks who rotate Adsense in their inventory, and unfortunately there are many "blank" ads because Adsense units are blocked off from that particular area.
Several years have passed, our site is in excellent standing with Adsense, and I would like to get the block of that area removed in order to stop the voluminous amount of blank impressions showing up from my other networks.
Should I pursue even pursue this? Because of our revenue numbers, we are eligible for direct email support and phone consultation, but I'm always edgy of having Adsense lurking all over the website. Adsense reviewing your website is like a box of chocolate, you never know what you're going to get.
