Why no stats for this ad?

I've had two website showing ads for about six months. I just added ads to a third site a couple of days ago.

- the ads show fine when you navigate to the page.

- I've added them to the list of allowed sites in my settings.

- the site is not banned from adsense.

- within hours of adding the banner code, the site name and some traffic figures showed up in the stats section.

BUT -- a few hours after that, those stats disappeared and now after two days, there is no mention of the website in the stats section.

What would cause stats to appear then disappear? What reasons are there for ads to show on a site, but not track?

Thanks
Mike

First check the obvious - that the pub number showing in the source code is actually yours.

Yes. Like I said, it was showing in my stats for a couple of hours. Then the stats disappeared.

It happened again today. It showed about 4 visits (there are hundreds every day) this morning, now it is not even listing the site in the stats.

The stats keep vanishing each day.

Not enough page views or unique visitors. Are you the only one visiting the site?

do you see the site's stats under "performance report"?

Ask support.

Yes. Like I said, the stats show up in the performance report for a small time, then vanish. This happens almost every day.

Ask support? Do you mean "type a question into the adsense support forum, get answered by a few people who have no idea and never actually hear from anyone in actual adsense support" - that kind of ask support?

Does anyone know how Adsense deals with 301 referred traffic? We've just moved our site. All the traffic is 301 redirected from the old site.

If you earn, what, $25 or more per week (I think), then you have access to Google Adsense employee support. Maybe even chat support. Go to the Help Center, click on Contact Us and you'll see your support options.

Say your domain is example.com. Go to performance report, if you don't see it there, search by "last 7 days" or "30 days". Once you see the said domain, click it and search by dates of your choosing.

Like I keep saying, the domain shows in the stats every so often, but then those stats disappear. It shows nothing for the entire month. But, if i check in a few hours, it will show 1-2 visitors, then those visitors will disappear too!

I'm experiencing exactly the same thing with traffic showing and disappearing in reports for a new site except I have found that traffic to the site then shows up in my adsense reports 2 weeks after the actual traffic appears. I don't know but I wonder whether they now have some system in place which verifies the traffic to new sites before showing it permanently in the reports.

I repeat - ask support. If you are averaging a hundred bucks a month, you're eligible for email support (and you might have chat as well)
