I have a bunch of ad units that are currently in ad status "idle". I'm pretty sure they are still displaying - will I receive credit for clicks?
What's the point of AdSense setting ads to "idle"?

I don't think idle ads are displaying. That's why they are called idle.

ember that WOULD make sense, however I have different ad units for each page and when I check the ads units that say idle, there are ads being displayed on those pages. And I'm clearing cache and cookies and arriving directly on these pages from organic results. So it appears ads are definitely appearing - now am I getting credit for clicks on these pages is perhaps another story. Hmmm. To be safe, maybe I will tag these tag where the ad units say "idle" with ad units that are definitely active.
