Ist it allowed to use adsense on chrome extension ?

Hi,

I made a chrome addon (Its about new tab).

My question is, I also want to include my adsense custom search (search input) on my addon.

I have looked at the terms, and saw that its not allowed to use custom search on a toolbar. But its a chrome addon, not a toolbar.

There is quite a bit in the policies about AdSense being used in software. This isn't allowed, no.
