I get a decent amount of clicks that pay under ten cents from foreign countries. Is it possible to block ads from showing in certain countries? Not that I have seen a huge spike in foreign countries, but it seems smart to block certain countries that could give a publisher a real problem.

I would use DFP and do selective targetting for certain countries, and even target countries with different ad networks other than adsense to further boost overall earning. (assume other adnetworks do have higher CPM in certain countries).

It takes more effort to learn but definitely worthwhile. In addition you can set a floor price for adsense to compete against your other ad networks too. So it's a win win.

IIRC, the BBC use Adsense on their site, but not shown to people who are in the UK.
