Unmatched ad requests

Hi all,

I'm an old member but I must admit I've been mostly a lurker. Sorry for that.

Now, if you do not mind, I'm coming to somehow fullfill my curiosity.

Would you mind sharing your % of "Unmatched ad requests"? I'm curious about how many ads Google is not able to fill at this stage, when they're already working with quite a lot of external networks.

Mine is right now approx. 25%. And it seems way too much.

If you use link units you will get a lot of unmatched ad requests. Also if you open up Google certified ad networks it will lower unmatched ad requests.

My unmatched ad requests is less than .05% this month so far.

Since I gave up link units and ad networks other than AdWords (last year), my coverage for all of 2013 is 100%. I have 22k unmatched requests for the year, but it's not enough to even register as more than 0%.

I've removed link units after's Breeks message as a test. And up to now I have 0% unmatched requests

So, up to now, it seems there's a vast majority of max. <0.5%.

It would be great to know if Mentat uses link units or not.

@netmeg, Do you even block Google's certified networks, Google invite media, etc? I have them all blocked, but have considered only allowing these.

Anyway, mine is 0% and I don't use link units.
