YouTube terminated my MAIN YT acct, but NOT the four channels connected to it.

Now all those videos are still online and apparently even monetized, but I can't even EDIT them, DELETE them or do ANYTHING to them, because access to them goes through the MAIN acct -- which is terminated!

I'm trying to appeal, of course, and get the main thing reinstated. But for now, I'm dead in the water.

I'm just really confused by this process. It makes NO sense. There are actually a few channels I'd like to remove, but I can't!

if you give up on getting reinstated, you could try telling them the copyright owner wants the videos removed. (if you are the copyright owner.)

(if you are the copyright owner.)

... and if you're not, you can drop an anonymous hint to the actual copyright owner, who I'm sure will speedily take action.

YouTube is weird anyway. If an account is deleted, it takes weeks and weeks for its name to disappear from other people's watchlists-- and you can't remove it yourself because the account no longer exists.

Q: Why are there four sock-puppet accounts in the first place? A: Don't answer. I almost certainly don't want to know.

They're not sock puppets. What? Ok, like millions of other people, I have multiple sub YT accounts under the main one.

They're still up and running, and I can edit them by having connected another account as an admin.

But it still makes no sense.

Then I got an email indicating monetization is now active on one account, even though it's not.

There was no copyright violation, either. Just got flag bombed.
