Hi there just wondering about earnings fluctuations, ups and downs when you add Adsense code to another of the websites on your network.

Most of us have a network of sites, some are related, some are not. Some have strong traffic, some have less visitors, etc. Surprisingly many webmasters keep Adsense OFF some sites for several reasons, be it personal choice, that site doesn't have that much of traffic (or the opposite, it has a lot and you don't want ads there) or you are waiting for traffic to go up before adding Adsense code. There are cases where even that Adsense brings some juice some webmasters just won't care about showing ads on ALL of their sites, so they don't, just because.

So what's your experience when you start showing ads?

Does your earnings go up? stay the same? up and then go back to where they were? go down?

Not all of my sites show Adsense. Once in the past I just refused to show ads on one well stablished website. It was when Adsense was just solid stable day per day. The earnings when up, almost doubled and stayed that way.

When a lot of people joined the program and the earnings when down a bit I decided to show ads on another website with good traffic, that was like 3 years ago. Earnings went up just a little bit, then it went a bit down staying just a bit ahead of what earnings used to be.

I'm wondering about adding ads to another of my websites. I know I will find out what happens a few days after putting the code there but having second thoughts on doing it already or waiting for more traffic, or getting lots of it first.

What's your experience? or you just run Adsense on every website you have?

I run AdSense on information sites (established or new), and it goes up when the traffic goes up. I might run one ad on an affiliate site (but usually won't) and I would never ever run AdSense on an Ecommerce. site. I don't run AdSense on my personal site.
