Opening Adsense account with purchased site

I'm about to open a new Adsense account. My primary site currently doesn't have Adsense on it, but it used to have before (with the previous owner's account). So is this ok to apply with a site for a new Adsense account that previously had ads? I don't have any other Adsense accounts. This will be my first one.

Shouldn't be a problem. Google is a domain registrar so they can tell if the site actually changed hands, and if there are no ties from you to a banned previous site owner, it should be fine.
