I'm having issues with ads loading. Taking forever and other content not loading as a result. Anyone else experiencing this?

I created some new ad units today and after half an hour they still weren't displaying, so I disabled em all and enabled them two hours later and FINALLY they started running. Thinking they're running behind today.
But my normal already-running ads seem to be running okay.

My pages are rendering ok however first thing this morning I noticed it took a full 30 seconds before the ads loaded plus it took longer than normal to log into AdSense.
