I haven't found a topic yet about christmas presents from Google, so maybe I'm the first one (Netherlands).

It's a Mood light AM/FM radio... If you rotate it, you can select: radio on/light on/both on/off.

Pretty nice, but also a bit useless.

FWIW: We spend very little (practically nothing) on adwords and do OK on adsense, but some way off fed ex club.

I don't like this kind of philosophy. Google are making money FROM your website, they just happen to be sharing a large portion of it with you. But remember this, without our content, they wouldn't be making a dime on AdSense.

That's not to say we shouldn't be happy - I am... but I don't feel like I owe them anything. They provide me with some checks in exchange for advertising space (which I bet converts very well because my site sells items and it in itself converts well.) But it's good business, not a free favor.

That said, I'd share a glass of champaign with them any time! :)

Recieved mine several days ago. Must say like it better than the towel last year. It did change my mood right after the lights quit working about 2 hours after I got it. Mood light worked for me!

I got mine yesterday! My adsense account was disabled before 45 days and its good to still get the gift.

I wouldn't trade my radio for a pot of gold. Man alive AdSense has been good to me. I love their present, I love their service and so does my family!

Thank you Google for the wonderful present, but surely it is I who should be sending you a present.

Have we had an answer in this thread yet about the minimum adsense earnings required to receive a radio?

Has anyone earning < $1000 per month received one? How about < $500 per month?

I can confirm that one UK account earning less than $4,000 (not me) got the radio.

I just wanted to say I got mine here in Canada today - Shipped on Dec. 17 according to the waybill.

I'm pleased as punch to get it! Wish there was a phone number I could call to thank someone personally for it. Awesome, brilliant little gift.

I think the present likely has to do with annual total. Since Google loves round numbers I would guess that the UPS club is $10,000/mo and the Christmas-present club is $100,000/yr.

The mood light is cute but better than that is the 30" Apple Cinema Display I'm currently working on... which was the real Christmas present Google bought me. ;)

I read all y'all's posts and since I am still out of town for Christmas, i called my home town and was told by a neighbor I had a box from California that was left at my gate. She had it at her house and I got her to open it for me. She was amazed that I was so excited about a clock radio. I told her that it could have been a rubber banana and I'd have been just as excited to be so honored to receive one from Google. Yes, I agree....the gift is not just for those w/ over 100K annual for 2004.

I do have an Adsense account that has done better and better every month as I read and learn here and elsewhere. My Adsense code is on about 5 sites that I own, with 3 of them responsible for the bulk of the earnings.

Anyway--in my excitement over the GoogleGift, I went to the Amazon homepage and did a chunky 'one-click' contribution to the Red Cross in honor of Google.
