Changing Adsense account owner/country

Has anyone changed their Adsense account location to a new country? Or opened a new company account to replace a personal account and installed the new Publisher ID?

I started using Adsense when I was living in a different country and when my income was tiny.

Now I have moved and the income has gone up, and the current arrangement is costing me a lot in unnecessary taxes.

Ideally I would open a new business account with an address in my current country, and put the new Publisher ID on all the ads.

But I am worried that it might somehow affect my earnings — either the change of location, or moving from an old account in good standing to a new account with no track record.

Any experiences to share?

Changed from a private account to a business account. (I did not move)

While it's a PITA that you have to change accounts, it's all-in-all relatively painless.

I did "cheat" their documented process by letting the business apply for an account before I closed my personal one. No, I did not have 2 accounts. The business had one and I had one (business!=me).
I did the changeover in the middle of a month. To make sure there's no left-over to-be paid below the threshold amount on your account anymore.

Changing countries might affect you - which countries are we talking about ? E.g. Going between France and Germany will unlikely affect anything, while going from the UK to India might very well affect you.

I still have two accounts, one business and one personal. Don't use the personal one though. I didn't suffer through any problems. I didn't change country though.
