I have been seeing lots of people complaining about accounts being closed. Here is my question.

Can't google grab any information grab they want when someone clicks on an ad? I am not a programmer but since it is javascript, wouldnt they be able to pretty much get whatever information they wanted from the clickers computer? i.e. name of computer, cookie information, or serial number and such?

I am having this problem myself - just got sent a letter from google. Probably something really really shady going on but I will come down to the bottom of it!

I guess AdsenseAdvisor has the sticky mail off but I am not sure what to do about this problem with my Adsense account being turned off by Google. I never click on my ads and cant imagine why they cant find the person doing it.

They probably can (or at least the IP. However, why bother investigating when the easy option is ban the publisher.

Can we demand the IP of where the fradulent clicks are coming from?

Something has to be done about this while innocent small businesses are being blamed. Someone needs to be prosecuted and action needs to be taken.

[quote]Can we demand the IP [/quote} You can't demand anything of G. They will tell you to truck off and they have far deeper pockets than any of us.

Please remember that "fraudulent clicks" includes clicks generated from pages that were in violation of the Adsense Terms & Conditions.

That would include things like putting hidden keywords on the page to skew the contextual ads to show more lucrative ads, comments similar to "Visit our sponsors to support this site" and other naughtiness.

PatrickDeese,
I do not engage in those kind of things nor did I do anything against the TOS. I know the TOS. I know we have all seen sites like these "asking for people to click" and I agree those should be banned but clearly I do not.

I stated my problem. Its Clear and Str8 to the point. I need to find out how to get back into AdSense and find out the IP's that used fraudulent clicks on my sites!

This is the message I was given: "Invalid clicks have been generated on the ads on your web pages. We have therefore disabled your Google
AdSense account"

My problem has been fixed after an email to Google Adsense they figured out that I was not the problem. :) Something good for once this week :)

... and even save the money of that account!

... and even save the money of that account!

But don't forget, they're losing future revenue from the account. So it isn't in Google's interest to close accounts unless they honestly believe there's a good reason.

If they believe to solve the problem than they would try it, ...

To save money is for me still the better reason, not to try to solve it.
