The reason this stuck was in the fact that I had just purchased a domain/site related to the theme of my 'Main' web site. On this new site I have adsense running I have also created a few links to my 'Main' site.
I am not in the position currently to merge the two and to be frank about it; this new site comes up for many of the terms I have been struggling to accomplish for my main site.
Maybe I am just being paranoid about the url channel tracking but it would seem to me the more information I pump into my adsense account the easier it would be for someone to 'Track my virtual footsteps or connections'! Am I the only one which feels this paranoia? I am sure I havent just given out a great new idea to G?
I'm sort of a reformed conspiricy nut and operate on the assumption that everything is recorded anyway, so why worry about it? ;)

I am quite certain all they have to do is click a button in the Googleplex while looking at your account and they would have a list of all the URLs and domains your publisher ID has ever been displayed on. I don't think adding URLs to the channels is going to keep you any less hidden.
If you run AdSense, they will know your network. That said, I don't know of any cases where they have used or shared this information with other Google departments outside of AdSense.
But to put it simply, if you don't want Google to know your network, don't run AdSense ;)
