It IS OK, to say how much you make according to the TOS.

Under "Payments History", NO payments are shown. HUH?
Then why is it called "Payments History". (It isn't, it changes to "Transaction History", after you click on it, with no payment information whatsoever.

I then checked my "previous payments" link.
The new numbers bear ZERO relationship to reality.

Example -
In August, I made over $xx,xxx ($xx,xxx with deductions) - stated correctly in the OLD interface.
NOW, on September 20, they say I had ZERO CREDITS (income), and that I OWE THEM $4 for this period (Debits). GADZOOKS!

Why do I get the feeling that every time they change something, it is always worse than its predecessor?

I think it was Netmeg who posted the other day that she had a support response indicating various "earnings adjustments" could be made for something like 90 days.

I just visited my Payment History page in order to collect info to complete my tax return for last year.

As noted by the OP, it's showing no payments. I didn't earn enough for Google to report the earnings, but I was trying to be honest. :-)

Okay ... I can collect the info from my check register, but I it would have been easier to use the Google report.

I have another question for you since you're in Canada. Have you been receiving EFT payments in the past? I received this message today on my AS homepage:

"Your AdSense account has been upgraded to a new payments system. Learn more.."

My payment method is already EFT for many years now. I guess I don't need to do anything, correct?

Not just daily but in real time it would seem - thus the "CA" before the dollar signs. One thing that hasn't changed is the Payment History accessed via the "See your previous payments" link on the Transaction History page. Those figures are still in US$ as before.

I've always received payments via EFT and a quick check of my profile and settings didn't show anything blank or that needed to be changed. I'll be a bit nervous next PIP time but I think this is just a reporting change, nothing to do with the actual payment mechanism.

I hope so. What confuses me is their vague instruction.

Required actions
Publishers located in the United Kingdom and United States are not required to update their bank details to the IBAN format. Publishers located in Italy, Greece and Finland who have previously entered and verified IBAN bank account details are not required to do so again.

To continue to receive payments via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) you must enter your International Bank Account Number (IBAN) and Bank Identifier Code (BIC) account details into your AdSense account so that your payment can be sent to your bank account successfully. If you are not aware of your IBAN details, you’ll find these details on your bank account statement.

Since Canada is not included, they make it appear that we need to enter an IBAN and BIC. But when I did a test to add a new bank, IBAN and BIC fields are not there, only Bank Code and Bank Branch. Very confusing.

According to the Wikipedia entry on IBAN, "Canadian financial institutions have not adopted IBAN and use bank transit numbers issued by the Canadian Payments Association for domestic transfers, and SWIFT for international transfers." No IBAN for Australia, NZ and most of Asia as well.

Hopefully Google will clarify their instructions ASAP - at least we have nearly 4 weeks 'til the next PIP.

I live in Canada as well, and I had EXACLTY the same experience as @jbayabas - same thing....

Instructions don't included Canada as exempt from changing to IBAN and BIC etc. But when I go to add a new bank account it's the same fields for entering basic EFT information. SO it looks like Canadians are exempt as well.

BUT why did I get the message in the header of may account, and why don't the instructions show us as exempt like the USA.

I find that dealing with a lot of companies they lump Canada in with the USA.

Going to just leave it for now. I called the TD Canada Trust and they didn't know why I would need an IBAN # - they only have a BIC code which is the same as SWIFT CODE.

Since AdSense started the $OZ has appreciated 100%.

As far as I know all earnings are reported in your local currency and it has been that way for quite some time now. Certainly mine are in $A.

My total earnings for Sept is showing just a few dollars where it should be 4 digits.

Other stats are fine, am I missing something here?
