Anybody else seeing this pattern?
A few, or no clicks for most of the day, then after 6:00pm PST, click count (if you're lucky to have any!) starts to move.

For me, in August I see a steady rising in eCPM all day and in the last 2 hours (When Europe comes to life) is going down.

Play_Bach
I quite often get clicks during the morning up until around 2pm (GMT), then often it goes very slow until around 5pm, and it continues as normal. It doesn't always freeze, but there are certainly plenty of days with these 'blackouts'. I can't put it down entirely to the rest of the world sleeping, as my clicks come from many different countries including Europe where I'm based.

Yep, very similar here. But the numbers never catch up enough to be believable. As if overloaded systems eventually give up and flush any outstanding clicks.

CTR isn't being helped by the huge number of spammy ads. One particular ad I've "blocked" four times in three days *and* reported for misleading display URL, but it's still appearing on my pages.

The whole Adsense ship seems to be increasingly unseaworthy with the folks at the plex repainting the cabins whilst the hull keeps springing leaks.

Saturday was a good day, surprisingly. Not sure if it was Friday's clicks showing up.

Similar situation here as well. I came to the conclusion that I should login once a day and view the previous days stats, and ignore the current day because it never seems to end how it starts. It looks bad, ends OK or it looks good and ends bad.

6:00am (PST) here and just waking up to find earnings have already surpassed all day yesterday. Click count is very low but is paying well, really well. This again leads me to suspect there's some kind of "super click" accounting going on in the reports we see that bears little or no resemblance to what actually happens. Hard for me to grasp these spikes any other way than them being some sort of consolidation.

Saturday saw click volume at 92% of the month's daily average with earnings 99.1%. Overall this month my Saturdays have been 107.2% of the daily average which is unprecedented for me with my long-term average being about the 70-75% level.

Anybody else seeing this pattern?

I've been seening that for ages. I was thinking that maybe it's post-lunchtime blues in Europe and early morning hangovers in the US!

Three hours later, no click count change.

Sounds like a sane way to look at it! Might start doing so myself if this keeps up.

I won't look...I won't. Must wait...until...tomorrow. Damn I looked. Awful as suspected. Now I'm off to kick myself repeatedly for looking.

I'm getting the clicks but EPC is way, way down. Imagine it will correct itself to some degree when I wake up in the morning.

JCKline - I'm sure we'd all sleep more soundly if we only checked once a week. Now, that's a challenge.

Have seen some surprisingly high RPMs since the 20th or 21st, not sure if it's any connection to a Panda update that rolled out on the 20th. Regardless, hope it continues - I should surpass July's total revs by the end of tomorrow.

Good clicks, but EPC never did recover, so not a great day overall.

Yesterday earnings ended up at 45%. The good news is that I'll likely beat last month. The bad news is it's still way, way down from what I used to earn. Don't know about anybody else, but April 2012 marked the beginning of a 40% drop in earnings from March. This new level has continued every month since. Here's to hoping September will be better!

Good page views, clicks not great, and EPC far from fantastic too. Every week seems to be a different Adsense experiment.

With only half an AdSense day gone I've already surpassed all of yesterday's metrics...now watch it fail!

For me the last three days have been great G-wise. But then again, so they should be at this particular time of year. I'm holding my breath to see what the next week holds.

An interesting Monday with metrics that would have looked a lot better if it were not for China and Austria with 21% of page views providing only 1, yes ONE, click between them. This last few days my traffic from China has been much higher than usual and Austria's page views were 56% of its entire month so far!

And writing of the month so far, I have now earned July's total with 4 days to go, with a bit of luck I may end up around the 113-115%. Still a long way to go to get back to "normal" however at least it's going in the right direction.

Curiously this month to date is marginally ahead of last month and arresting the downward "death spiral".

The trend is reversing? I accept the long term CTR we've endured. In "real terms", EPC? $AUD vs $US I'm doing much better than in 2003.

I just might publish August averages since August, 2003 sometime!

I'm now 10% since way back then.

Oh to fix the Google Animal Farm [and] NO, I've never been anything except "white hat".
