I have a web site with some AdSense ads, performing very well - I've been serving AdSense since 2004 or so and it's been doing great.

I've been approached by the SwaaveNetwork, they say they can give better rates than AdSense. Apparently they service Google AdEx ads and other networks as well.

Anyone have any experience with these guys? Do you know if its' okay running their ads together with AdSense on the same page?

Thanks in advance!

These guys must be brand new.
Their website has precious little content, most of which is marketing BS, with no substance.

"Well, by definition for an individual it means smooth, charming, and capable of acheiving ones dreams." Nooo. That would be suave. And i before e, except after c. "... capable of achieving one's dreams." No, swaave doesn't mean that, and neither does suave.

They rank 5th for their own name.

I am NOT a big fan of white text on a black background. This is usually discouraged by most SEO types.

I am not a bleeding edge innovator. I need to see some performance data, if I am ever to apply.

I'm with mertero. Anyone got any data to report? Such as, where are they, and who is running the place?

I get approached at least monthly by some ad network I've never heard of and their pitch always says they can outperform AdSense. I always reply how they can say that when they have no idea how AdSense performs for me and then ask them to tell me what CPM they're going to guarantee me if I replace AdSense with them...the conversation usually stops about that time.

My experience with Google's "other" networks was so miserable I turned them all off. Probably wouldn't bother myself; YMMV.

Alexa Data -
Alexa global rank - 1,371,336
Alexa India rank - 219,226
Alexa U.S. rank - none
Reputation - no data - Zero sites linking in

My conclusion - A start-up in India - no wonder they do not say where they are, or who they are, or anything else.

Those are recurring requests from third / fourth tier and networks to any site with some visibility. Don't waste your time.

Guys,

Thanks for the help. It's the first time I got approached by an ad network like that. It sounds good and flattering at first.

I worried because:

1. They require at least 45 (or was it 60?) days commitment, saying that it takes a while for targeting to kick in and so it won't be fair to try them for less
2. They require that if I use them in a certain spot, they must be exclusive, I cannot "test" them for 10% of my traffic or so.

The potentially I can lose 1-2 months of AdSense revenue on that spot (not nice), and I"m risking running a network together with other adsense ads which is risky.

I guess I"ll have to turn that down.
