AdSense & Youtube. OK on the same page?

I'm sure there should be a page on the AdSense or Youtube sites addressing this, but I can't find it.

Anyone know if it is ok to put my AdSense code on MY pages where I have embedded videos that I shot?

No copyright issues. It's my original content on my pages.

As far as I can tell, these videos will probably never get enough plays to qualify for the "Partner" program, or I don't understand that program well enough.

Yes it's OK. You should also ad a paragraph or two describing the video.

It works OK for me.

I joined the partner program, then left because the earnings are truly pitiful compared to the risk.

So you left the partner program, but still run AdSense and Youtube on your pages, right?

What is the risk in the Partner program?

Yes, I have Adsense on the pages and many pages have YouTube videos as well. But I no longer host ads on the videos.

Given the silly, low returns I received on the YouTube ads, any risk makes it not worthwhile.

I have read (on this forum) that the risk of invalid clicks is much higher on Youtube ads. I have no direct experience of that but for a few pennies a day I'm not risking it.

nomis5; Thanks!

Yeah, I can see the risk with the overlay ads, it's sometimes hard to see the "go away" "X" on those things. That's got to lead to unintended clicks.
