Is there a QS, Quality Score, for Adsense publishers?

Has anyone witnessed drastic changes on his/her account. eCPM Changes that couldn’t be explained rather than assuming QS, Quality Score of the website has been updated?
I don’t mean 0-50% which can be explained by advertiser competition etc.
I talk about 100-400% .
During my time on Adsense there were some occasions where Adsense performance changed drastically – Panda effect, adding media (videos, graphs and images) or when top articles with competitive keywords get good exposure.
Please give your inputs.

The rough equivalent to QS for AdSense is called smart pricing. Nobody knows for sure how it's figured, but I suspect in a large measure, it has to do with the quality of your traffic. i.e. if I have a site that focuses on my area of the US, but 50% of my traffic comes from overseas, that's not very targeted, so the advertisers aren't going to want to pay full price for it.

If you search here for smart pricing (or just Google it) you'll find a lot more on how it appears to work.

Thanks netmeg
I forgot the term - smart pricing.
Let's take another kick off: Is there any direct relation between Smart pricing & Algo tweaks ?
I know the talks about that Adsense and Search are two different departments in Google.
However, couldn't it be that the data is shared?

Doubtful. The organics people are pretty much walled off from everything else. (A lot of people don't believe that, but I am convinced it is true)

Thanks Netmeg,
I know you have the experience so let me share my thoughts.
I have a mega site.
Lately, since 23 February my Adsense eCPM took off to ~ 2.5 to 3 times more than its average.
23-24 February was a date of a Panda. The site traffic hasn't changed a bit!
Still, the eCPM of the site is crazy high.
eCPM was OK before 23 FEB but now it is really amazing.
What I did on the site lately was:
1. I've embedded many YouTube videos from the site channel
2. ~ 300 images and graphs
3. Not even one new article since last year.

Something good surely happened.
What was the cause of this and why the traffic hasn't changed?
The site is a high traffic one (some good tens of thousands per day) that got hit, not so badly, on April 11 but survived all the Panda rounds since.

Lots of things could have happened; you'll probably never know what. But a couple of ideas:

- some of your competitors for that traffic could have been pandalyzed, causing their traffic to come to you.

- you could have a bunch of new advertisers.

- Some of your advertisers could have been pandalyzed in their organics, so they upped their PPC spend in order to survive.

You say your traffic hasn't significantly changed, but are you getting *more* clicks, or just the same clicks but they're higher earning?

How high on the page did you embed the videos Zivush? Above the fold?

It is 0.3% increase in % of clicks.
I thought of advertisers' competition. It seems they are fighting to bid on the site.

The videos were embedded way under the fold and at the bottom of articles ~ 100 how-to videos.
